Under the scheme, the health authorities under the government of Karnataka are going to install free emergency healthcare treatment camps and primary healthcare centers (PHCs), especially in rural areas, for diseases such as hypertension, kidney-related illness, diabetes, and cancer. With the installation of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) as emergency first aid in the right way, heart attacks and heart-related problems can also be treated with AEDs as first aid for the patient before reaching the hospital.
