About Thalliki Vandanam Scheme
The government of Andhra Pradesh, under the chief ministry of Chandrababu Naidu, introduced the Thaliki Vandanam Scheme 2025 on June 6th, 2024. It is one of the significant steps taken by the government to empower students and mothers of Andhra Pradesh by granting them financial assistance of Rs 15000 for the expenditure of students to fulfill the educational expenses of their child. The government has promised the mothers to issue an amount of Rs. 15000 into their bank accounts through the process of Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT)
The scheme has covered a huge number of 6.8 million mothers of the state, and mothers benefited from the Assam Budget 2025-26 of 8,750 crores rupees. The government will aid the amount promised under the scheme in the accounts of mothers/guardians of school-going students.

Eligibility Criteria For Thalliki Vandanam Scheme Status
A list of Eligibility criteria for the Thalliki Vandanam Scheme Status 2025 is given below:
- The collective income of a household should not exceed Rs. 10,000 per month in rural areas, and in urban areas, the total income of a household shouldn’t exceed 12,000 Rs. month.
- It is necessary to hold a Rice Card for at least one member of a family.
- Except for taxis, tractors, and autos, a household owning a four-wheeler vehicle is not taken as a beneficiary of this scheme.
- Sanitation workers and government employees whose monthly income is below or equal to 10000 or 12000 per month are eligible for this scheme.
- No candidate who is working in the private sector, or government sector, and receiving a government pension is eligible for the “Thalliki Vandanam Scheme”
- A family owning a land of 1000 square feet or more is not eligible for this scheme.
- The average electricity consumption of a house over the past 12 months should not exceed more than 300 units per month.
- If a child is listed in the household database but the beneficiary is not, then a verification process is conducted to check the eligibility.
- After taking up admission in school from class 1st to class 12th in the year 2025-26, are eligible students who become beneficiaries of this scheme.
