About Thalliki Vandanam Scheme 2025
The state government of Andhra Pradesh has launched the Thalliki Vandanam Scheme, commonly called the Salute To Mother Scheme, under the administration of CM Chandra Babu Naidu, which aims to provide financial assistance to the mother or guardians of the school-going students. Here are the eligibility criteria for the scheme:
- If the candidate lives in a rural area, the family’s monthly income must be under Rs 10,000.
- At least one member of the family should have a Valid Rice Card.
- The family of a candidate should own less than 3 acres of wetland or less than 10 acres of dry land. If you own both wet and dry land, the total amount must be under 10 acres.
- The family member can own only cars, tractors, and taxis.
- The family can only use electricity of less than 300 units per month.
- There is an exception for sanitation workers and low-paid government employees, who can still apply if their income is within the limits.
- Your name needs to be in the official state family database. What if only your child is listed? In that case, someone will come to your house for an in-person check to make sure you can get the benefit.
