About the Ungaludan Stalin Camp
The Tamil Nadu government, on July 15, 2025, led by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, has started one of the biggest public welfare flagships named the Ungaludan Stalin Camp initiative aims to change the way citizens access government services by bringing those services to their doorstep. Under the scheme, the government focused on the petitions of people, which will be resolved within a duration of 45 days.
The government has allotted a total of 10,000 special camps to be conducted across the state, in which a group of local people will become workers(volunteers) in the Stalin camps with a strong volunteer force. The Ungaludan Stalin scheme is a massive program and uses modern technology to efficiently manage all the government service-related logistics.
The number of 6,232 camps is designated for rural areas, while 3,768 camps will be allotted for the urban areas out of 10,000 total camps. The government has enlisted nearly 100,000 trained volunteers who are visiting homes to raise awareness and assist residents.
