The government of Tamil Nadu has recently launched a new initiative named the Tamil Nadu Vetri Nichayam Scheme 2025, Under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. M.K. Stalin, it is an educational initiative through which people between the age group 18 to 35 years and who dropped out of their education can get employment opportunities by taking such training and basic knowledge of how business works. The government aims to provide free skills and educational training to the unemployed youth of the state.
Under this flagship, the government will provide skill-based training in the form of 165 various courses among the 38 business sectors. All these courses are delivered to the public through 500 training institutes of the State of Tamil Nadu. The first phase of the scheme will go on to cover at least 75,000 unemployed youngsters in the upcoming academic year.
To deliver this scheme, the government authorities have allocated a big amount of INR 100 Crore from the Tamil Nadu 2025-26 Budget.
