Eligibility Criteria For Employees
- This scheme is only for individuals who are entering formal employment for the first time.
- It is mandatory for the employee to be registered with the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO).
- The monthly salary of a first time employee must be less than ₹1,00,000/-.
- The employee must have completed a minimum of 6 months of service with the same employer.
Eligibility Criteria For Employers
- The benefit of Pradhan Mantri Vikas Bharat Rojgar Yojana is available to employers from all sectors.
- Companies with less than 50 employees must hire at least 2 new employees every year.
- Organizations with more than 50 employees must hire at least 5 new people every year.
- Newly appointed employees are required to complete a minimum service period of 6 months.
- The monthly salary of the appointed employee should not exceed ₹1,00,000/-.
Financial Benefits
- Under this, first-time employees, registered with EPFO will get one-month EPF wage (up to ₹15,000), paid in two installments,
- First installment will be disbursed after 6 months of service
- On the other hand second one, after 12 months and completing a financial literacy programme.
- Under the support to employers, government provide each additional employee (salary up to ₹1 lakh) up to ₹3,000/month for 2 years
