About Assam Orunodoi 3.0 Scheme

The Assam Orunodoi 3.0 Scheme was launched by the Chief Minister of Assam State Mr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, in order to promote empowerment towards women. According to this scheme, the Government is to provide financial help of INR 1,250 to all the females who come from economically weaker sections of the state. This initiative is aimed at providing benefits to approximately 37 Lakh new female beneficiaries across the state. With the help of this initiative, the Government aims to provide financial help so that women can manage their daily needs and expenses without being dependent on anyone. The Authorities have allocated a financial budget of INR 5,604 Crores for the implementation of this scheme.
