About Mukhya Mantri Atmanirbhar Asom Scheme 2025
The Mukhya Mantri Atmanirbhar Asom Scheme was initiated by the Honorable Chief Minister of Assam with the primary goal of supporting Entrepreneurs with Financial Assistance. According to this scheme total of 2 Lakh unemployed Youth of the State will benefit from the government of Assam. These eligible Youths will get 1 Lakh Rupees in the Financial Year 2025 and 1 Lakh in 2025-26. This scheme was launched to address the issue of unemployment among the young generation of the state of Assam.
In the end, increasing employment will strengthen the state’s economy and lower the rate of youth unemployment. This money will enable them to develop important skills and improve their chances of finding good jobs. To provide Self-employment to all categories of Educated Youth through a Suitable Medium. The idea is to help people improve their abilities and find work or start their businesses.

Eligibility criteria
- The applicant has to live in Assam permanently.
- As of April 1, 2023, the applicant’s age shall fall between 28 and 40 years old.
- The age minimum is lowered by three years for applicants in the OBC, SC, and ST categories.
- The applicant is required to have completed at least Class 10.
- OBC, SC, and ST applicants should complete up to Class 10 of education.
- The applicant needs to be qualified for the income-generating activities based on their experiences, knowledge, and other attributes.
- Applicants need to have a bank account that was opened prior to December 31, 2023.
- The applicant should not be related to a government employee or retiree.
- Only one member of the family can apply for this scheme.
Financial Benefits
All the candidates that are enrolled in Atmanirbhar Assam List will be provided with the financial help of Rs. 2 Lakh to Rs. 5 Lakh by the Assam Government.
