Under this scheme, the government provides financial assistance to girl students to undertake their studies at the graduate and postgraduate levels in colleges and universities. By offering this government aims to empower girl students by giving them financial incentives, decreasing school dropout rates, and providing higher education to the young girls, especially from underprivileged backgrounds.

Assam Nijut Moina 2.0 Scheme Application Form
At the release of MM Nut Moina 2.0, the application forms of the scheme have been disbursed to the higher educational institutions within the state of Assam. More than 4,16,239 students from 1,846 educational institutions are covered by the scheme to obtain the benefits of this significant initiative. The scheme offers a monthly grant on the basis of educational grades of education. For students in classes 11th and 12th, the government provides financial aid of 1,000 rupees.
For the youth studying in degree courses, the initiative promises an amount of 1,250, and the amount of 2,500 INR will be given to the postgraduate students of the state. Except for school breaks, the amount promised under the scheme will be received directly into the bank account on the 11th day of every month
