About Annadata Sukhibhava Scheme
To support the farmers of Andhra Pradesh, the state government has introduced the Annadata Sukhibhava Scheme, announced by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Chandrababu Naidu, in the year 2025, a key initiative aimed at providing financial aid to low-income farmers. Under this flagship, the government aimed to provide money to farmers of the state, which would help the farmers with their farming needs, such as purchasing cropping inputs, such as fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, etc.
The primary objective is to ease the financial strain on marginal and tenant farmers by offering them assistance in purchasing necessary cultivation resources. Under the scheme, each qualified farmer will get 20,000 rupees, out of which 6,000 rupees will come from the central government under the PM-KISAN scheme. This financial support will be directly transferred to farmers’ bank accounts through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.
