Agneepath Scheme Eligibility
- Candidates must be permanent citizens of India.
- Only unmarried male and female candidates can apply.
- The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 25 years on the date of enrollment.
- Class 10th /Matric pass students are eligible for the scheme.
- The minimum height of the candidate must be 170 cm, and the chest must be 77cm.
- Males who can do a 1.6 km run in 6 minutes 30 seconds, 20 squats, and 15 push-ups.
- Every candidate must pass the health check required by their specific military branch, which includes tests for eyesight, hearing, and dental health.
- The candidate with any type of permanent tattoos is not allowed.
- All candidates must possess a valid Domicile Certificate.
- Relaxations in height and other physical standards are permissible for candidates from specific regions (e.g., the Himalayan region and tribal areas). Candidates must provide relevant certificates to avail of these concessions.
